INGREDIENTS

  • 4 lbs Pork Shoulder/Butt
  • 12 oz Root Beer
  • 1 cup Jaymo’s Sauce
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 1  tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Liquid Smoke (Hickory Flavored)

EQUIPMENT

  • Slow Cooker

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rub pork with mustard, thyme, & chili powder.
  2. Place in slow cooker.
  3. Add root beer, garlic, Worcestershire, onion (optional) and liquid smoke to cooker.
  4. Cook on LOW for 9-10 hours or HIGH for 5 hours.
  5. Drain all liquid, strip pork.
  6. Top with Jaymo’s sauce at serving.
